Each year since 2012 Suzanne Phoenix has curated a photography project – What Does International Women’s Day Mean to Me?
Suzanne brings together a group of inspiring, courageous and often outspoken cis and trans women and gender diverse people to create a visual snapshot of the fierce, funny and extraordinary people who inspire her world.
The 2023 series includes: Alana Wilson, Alanna Oliver, Alexis Desaulniers-Lea, Deb Lord, Jacey Ashton, Jess Hitchcock, Kira Puru, Leah Senior, LJ Dacio, Madeline Leman, Maude Davey, Milo Hartill, Olivia Bartley, Paris Wells, Penny Ikinger, Rebecca Barnard, Ruby Jones, Simone Page Jones, Whisky Falls, Vixsin, Xani Kolac and Zali King.
This self-publication included raw and honest portraits and every individual's own responses to the question 'What Does International Women's Day Mean to Me?'.
